There are many truck training schools in Hamilton that offer driver training. The school that you choose is probably the most important decision that you make as you start your career in transportation. Schools should be registered under the Private Career Colleges Act, which means they operate with an approved government regulated curriculum and are able to provide training that will prepare a student for a job in the trucking industry.

By contrast, there are many schools that are not registered, and typically prepare a student to get their commercial drivers license, but do nothing to prepare students for a career in trucking. Do not compare schools on cost alone, also consider the training equipment, course content, structure and job assistance programs that may vary significantly between training schools.
